Job Requirements
- Proof of age
- completion of basic food handling training and obtainment of local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- regular and consistent attendance
- energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- provide excellent guest service
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- ability to effectively converse in and comprehend English
- physical ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and reach around the theater
- ability to work standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior serving or bar experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English effectively
- interpersonal skills to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities
- ability to work in a team environment and independently
- ability to take and follow direction
- completion of safe alcohol service training program for team members working with alcohol
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- verifies identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- seats guests when applicable
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- deliver food and beverage orders within established timeframes
- consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- monitor safety and security issues such as trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons and report to management
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
