- strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- excellent guest service skills
- detail oriented with ability to multitask
- good organizational skills
- computer skills including POS system proficiency
- ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
- ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- ability to reach with hands
- ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and tools
- ability to bend and stoop
- ability to verbally communicate clearly
- ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus
- ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- willing to comply with updated safety and sanitation procedures following CDC and local guidelines

Job Duties
- Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- serves food and beverages to guests promptly ensuring items meet company standards
- communicates professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- describes food items accurately and maintains company quality standards
- inputs orders accurately into the POS system
- pre-bus tables and assists with approved side work as outlined
- practices safe food and beverage handling and maintains cleanliness
- safely handles food preparation equipment
- effectively handles guest complaints and involves management when appropriate
- communicates and interacts with guests, manages crowds and puts guests at ease while waiting
- may assist in other job categories as assigned
- performs all other duties as assigned
