Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Must communicate effectively in English
  • Flexible to work split shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Possess a California Food Handler's Card
  • Have a RBS Alcohol Server Certificate
  • Adhere to ServSafe sanitation and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Possession of a California Food Handler's Card
  • RBS Alcohol Server Certificate
  • Knowledge of ServSafe safety and sanitation standards
  • Preferred knowledge of food including sauces, cuts of meat, fish, cooking methods, and wine types
  • Ability to prepare and serve cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Experience with banquet service and American plated service

Job Duties

  • Work from established procedures and instructions to accomplish routine assignments
  • Maintain dining room area including stocking and setup according to protocols
  • Keep dining equipment clean and presentable including vacuuming, watering plants, and cleaning tables
  • Monitor member and guest satisfaction with food, beverages, and service
  • Stay visible on the dining floor to meet member needs
  • Prepare food bars and buffet areas with appropriate items and supplies
  • Set up bars with beer, wine, spirits, paper products, glassware, ice, and produce
  • Open and serve wine bottles tableside
  • Prepare basic cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages and suggest drinks to guests
  • Conduct inventory and provide order lists for supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure all member needs are met
  • Operate POS systems including totaling orders and reconciling tickets
  • Perform dining room closing duties including lock-up
  • Clean storage equipment as assigned
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
