Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods throughout entire shifts
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, and use hands to handle objects and tools safely
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to visually focus including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • ability to freely access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • must be dependable and demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills

  • computer skills including POS system experience
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures

Job Duties

  • Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • serves food and beverages to guests promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
  • communicates professionally with guests to determine their needs and help with menu selections
  • communicates new promotions and product information to guests
  • inputs orders accurately into the POS system
  • pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work
  • practices safe food and beverage handling and maintains cleanliness
  • safely handles food prep equipment
  • effectively handles guest complaints and involves the manager when appropriate
  • communicates and interacts with guests to create a comfortable waiting experience
  • assists in other job categories as needed
  • performs all other duties as assigned
