Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
Ability to read and write handwritten notes
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
Ability to walk or stand 100% of shift
Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read and communicate in English
Skilled in operating Micros POS system
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Customer service experience preferred
Ability to handle cash and complete financial transactions accurately
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to follow health and safety procedures

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to company sanitation procedures
Maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
Greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
Accurately take guests’ food and drink orders
Maintain a thorough understanding of menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink
Enter orders into Micros quickly and correctly
Ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated tables
Work efficiently adhering to “Full hands in, Full hands out” philosophy
Assist in party setup and breakdown
Bus and reset tables as needed
Assist other team members as needed
Complete station side work at the beginning and end of shifts
Participate in sales incentives and contests
Follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control
Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery, maintaining drink levels, and responding promptly to guest needs
Keep station clean and organized
Maintain favorable working relationships with all team members to promote cooperation and morale
Communicate effectively to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster’s experience
Operate Micros for transactions and account for monies at shift end
Dress in proper dress code and maintain professional appearance at all times
Be at least 18 years old
