Hy-Vee is currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join their team as Servers in the Market Grille department. This non-exempt role is essential in providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service within the Hy-Vee dining setting. Servers at Hy-Vee Market Grille are responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders to patrons, ensuring timely and accurate service that contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. This position requires a strong customer service focus, professional attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
The Server role involves greeting customers warmly, handling order entry either by memorization or with assistance from POS systems, verifying age requirements for alcoholic beverage service where applicable, and attending to customer needs during their meal to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly. This position also requires working collaboratively with other restaurant staff to maintain service standards and cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and restocking supplies.
