We are actively hiring a Full-Time Server at our Cambridge community, located at 2900 S Jefferson Avenue, Springfield, MO 65807. This role involves not only serving meals but fostering a warm, vibrant environment where residents feel valued and connected. The server position offers a competitive pay range of $15 to $22 per hour, working Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm. As a Server at Arrow Senior Living, you will embody multiple important personas: the Host with the Most who warmly greets and engages with residents; the Peppy Prepper who ensures the dining area is ready for each meal; the Titan of Tidiness who maintains cleanliness and order; and the Appetite Anthropologist who monitors residents' dietary habits and collaborates with supervisors and wellness staff as needed. This multifaceted role is essential for supporting residents’ well-being and enhancing their dining experience. Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- positive and energetic attitude
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
- ability to frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- able to assist residents with mobility and after falls
- successfully pass criminal background check
- available to work Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm
Job Qualifications
- minimum age of 16 years
- ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency or higher
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to assist residents physically
- criminal background clearance
- reliable communication skills
- experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
Job Duties
- greet residents and make them feel welcome
- be present in the dining room and engage with residents
- prepare tables, salads, and other meal service items
- buss tables and maintain cleanliness
- communicate dietary concerns to supervisors and wellness staff
- assist residents as needed with sitting, standing, or walking
- observe and report any changes in residents' appetite or behavior
