Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time AM Server to join the team at 11 Waters, an elite fine dining restaurant within Marriott Syracuse Downtown. In the role of AM Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service throughout your shift, greeting patrons warmly, taking and serving orders promptly, and ensuring that every dining experience measures up to the high standards set by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. You will perform necessary side work and setup duties while maintaining professional communication with guests regarding menu details. Ensuring the presentation, temperature, and portion sizes of food are accurate before serving is also a critical aspect of this position. Beyond routine tasks, you will contribute to a team-oriented environment, assisting co-workers and maintaining a guest relations ambassador mindset at all times.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in guest service or food and beverage industry preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends and holidays
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift

Job Duties
- Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual
- Do all necessary set-up and side work as assigned
- Answer any guest questions about the menu
- Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
