Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at minimum eighth grade proficiency
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds frequently
  • ability to assist residents with mobility and after a fall
  • criminal clearance required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a serving or hospitality role is a plus
  • strong communication skills in English
  • positive and energetic attitude
  • ability to engage warmly with elderly residents
  • physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift frequently
  • ability to provide mobility assistance safely
  • criminal background clearance

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • be present and engage with residents in the dining room
  • prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
  • bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining area
  • assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall support
  • ensure dining environment fosters resident connections
  • follow health and safety standards during service
