Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at minimum eighth grade proficiency
- positive and energetic attitude
- physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds frequently
- ability to assist residents with mobility and after a fall
- criminal clearance required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a serving or hospitality role is a plus
- strong communication skills in English
- positive and energetic attitude
- ability to engage warmly with elderly residents
- physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift frequently
- ability to provide mobility assistance safely
- criminal background clearance
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- be present and engage with residents in the dining room
- prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
- bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining area
- assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall support
- ensure dining environment fosters resident connections
- follow health and safety standards during service
