Job Description
Invited is a leading hospitality and service company that has been building relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and employees since 1957. With a workforce of over 17,000 employees, Invited is known as the largest owner and operator of private clubs across the United States. The company manages more than 130 prestigious country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs, each offering exceptional amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, and well-equipped fitness centers. Invited’s commitment to creating an inclusive and dynamic team environment makes it a sought-after place to work for those passionate about the hospitality industry.
The Server 1 position at Invited plays a vital role in delivering outstanding food and beverage service to members and guests. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on providing exceptional customer experiences, as it requires a focus on Invited’s signature 3-steps of service: warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells. Server 1 is responsible for ensuring that every guest interaction not only meets but exceeds the company’s high service standards. By working collaboratively with other team members, the Server 1 ensures a seamless and memorable dining experience, key to member satisfaction and retention.
Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager, the Server 1 is dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the dining area. Key day-to-day responsibilities include possessing thorough knowledge of the a la carte menu, executing food and beverage orders efficiently, greeting members by name to foster a welcoming atmosphere, and handling guest concerns promptly using service recovery techniques. This non-lead role is crucial in supporting overall dining operations by assisting with side work, maintaining stock levels, and adhering to club standards.
In addition to daily responsibilities, Server 1 team members must be adaptable and willing to assist with additional tasks as needed, reflecting the dynamic nature of club operations. Professionalism, adherence to company policies, and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members and colleagues are essential attributes for success in this role. Furthermore, the position requires compliance with safety guidelines and encourages personal and professional growth, including maintaining any required certifications relevant to the role.
As part of Invited, team members have access to a comprehensive Total Rewards benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off programs. This inclusive and supportive culture strives to create a workplace where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute to the company’s ongoing success. Join Invited to be part of a renowned organization where your efforts make a real impact on the experience of members and guests, and where you can grow your career in the thriving hospitality and service industry.
