  • An understanding of food and beverage operations
  • Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
  • Experience in food and beverage service is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in a health club or hospitality industry is preferred but not necessary
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Serve food in the proper sequence and that all patrons receive the proper food in a timely fashion
  • Make sure that the kitchen staff is producing the food according to specifications
  • Take orders and make sure that all customers are serviced and that additional items are ordered
  • Keep the restaurant tables bussed and cleaned
  • Follow Health Department standards and requirements
  • Ensure all patrons have everything they need for a great dining experience
  • Serve as the main customer service contact for members at the restaurant, including answering questions, welcoming, and other member communications
  • Make sure that all opening and closing duties are performed by both kitchen and bar staff
  • Follow daily and weekly duties
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items
  • Make sure that all POS stations are reconciled
  • Maintain professionalism when not assisting customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
