Job Requirements
- 2 years of operational experience in transportation, warehousing, or a similar field
- Strong critical thinking and planning ability
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to dive into details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer, typing, and 10-key skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- At least 1 year of experience in OS&D
- Experience in transportation, warehousing, or a similar field
Job Duties
- Research over, short and damaged freight and process related documentation for quick customer resolution and claim prevention
- Communicate with customers, operations, and vendors to resolve issues around shipments identified as over, short, damaged, refused, or stranded
- Effectively use tools related to matching freight and documenting shipment dispositions
- Develop strong relationships with operational teams at service centers to solve recurring issues
- Monitor controls of paperwork and processes that impact claims, ensuring timely communication of exceptions on shipper-loaded trailers and proper handling of PODs
- Track and maintain detailed records for all hazardous materials to ensure physical inventory matches electronic inventory
- Work directly with vendors to ensure proper pick-up and disposal of spills and related documentation meets EPA and OSHA standards
- Bill shipments under applicable tariffs and pricing agreements
- Collaborate with the Cargo Claims Team to complete specific tasks daily to prevent claims
