Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Five years experience in hotel culinary operations
- Three to five years leadership experience
- Two years experience specifically in banquet culinary roles
- Full availability including weekdays weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years experience working in hotels
- Three to five years of leadership experience in culinary operations
- At least two years experience as a Banquet Chef
- Proven ability to manage banquet kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to develop menus in coordination with management
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations including meal preparation and production
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Comply with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations
- Manage team member productivity and performance through supervision and training
- Implement policies and procedures related to kitchen and banquet operations
- Control costs and contribute to overall profitability
- Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events in partnership with Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage
