Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation regulations
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and operations effectively
- Experience with payroll and scheduling systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years culinary experience or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field with 2 years experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform culinary tasks and supervise kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations
- Experience in managing budgets and scheduling
- Skilled in employee development and coaching
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain high quality standards
Job Duties
- Lead, influence, and encourage culinary team using strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Supervise and manage kitchen employees and daily operations
- Prepare food items personally while leading shifts
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation standards are met
- Develop and create new culinary applications, ideas, and presentations
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and human resource activities
- Maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
