Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a steakhouse or high-end restaurant kitchen
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a kitchen environment
  • Strong computer skills including Google Workspace applications such as Docs and Sheets
  • Solid understanding of food cost and labor cost management
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, plating, and presentation
  • Ensure all recipes and procedures are executed to Golden Steer standards
  • Assist in menu development and seasonal updates
  • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff including line cooks and junior sous chefs
  • Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings, tastings, and ongoing training
