Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience
- Experience utilizing Delphi FDC preferred
- Ability to qualify group leads pertinent to pattern placement and room to space ratio
- Strong negotiation skills to protect hotel interests
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a sales team
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience in a full-service or convention hotel
- Experience with Delphi FDC preferred
- Preferred 4-year college degree
Job Duties
- Qualify group leads regarding pattern placement, room to space ratio, validating histories, and establishing food, beverage, and rental minimums
- Plan, direct, and organize sales activities such as outside sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, lead development, and proposal preparation
- Illustrate a clear understanding of group history analysis for general use
- Navigate hotel contract terms and conditions, conducting negotiations that support and protect hotel interests
- Demonstrate creativity in crafting written proposals and special offers focusing on customer needs
- Deliver creative and memorable experiences during customer site inspections
- Organize and attend sales, revenue, and related meetings
- Exhibit positive leadership characteristics to inspire team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
