The Senior Revenue Manager position at PHG plays a pivotal role in maximizing the financial performance of hotel properties under its portfolio. This leadership role focuses on shaping revenue strategies through detailed analytics, forecasting, pricing, and distribution management to optimize topline performance and profitability. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the property teams, ensuring that revenue strategies align with PHG standards and deliver sustainable results. In this role, the Senior Revenue Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive hotel pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies spanning transient and group market segments. They will analyze pace reports, booking trends, market demand indicators, and channel performance metrics to identify revenue risks and opportunities. The Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams, ensuring alignment on commercial priorities and optimizing channel mix to reduce revenue leakage and maximize net revenue. By preparing detailed revenue forecasts and performance reports, the incumbent supports data-driven decision-making at both the property and commercial team levels.
The role demands an analytical mindset, strong communication skills to convey insights and recommendations effectively, and the ability to handle multiple properties and priorities in a high-paced environment. Experience with relevant revenue management systems and tools such as Synxis CRS, Infor HMS, and TravelClick Agency360 is beneficial. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in hotel revenue management, preferably in independent hotels
- Proficiency with revenue management systems such as Synxis CRS, Infor HMS
- Familiarity with TravelClick Agency360, Salesforce Delphi, CoSTAR, and Profitsword is a plus
- Experience with GDS, OTAs, and third-party distribution platforms
- Revenue management training or certifications preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management fundamentals including pricing, forecasting, inventory control, and distribution
- Solid grasp of transient and group demand dynamics and displacement analysis
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations
- Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
Job Duties
- Support development and execution of hotel pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies
- Manage day-to-day revenue strategy for transient and group segments including pricing and inventory controls
- Analyze pace reports, pickup trends, booking windows, and market demand indicators to identify risks and opportunities
- Evaluate channel mix and cost of acquisition to optimize distribution strategies and minimize revenue dilution
- Support group pricing decisions through displacement analysis and collaboration with Sales
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance with brand revenue governance
- Prepare and deliver recurring revenue reports, forecasts, and performance insights
- Lead commercial strategy meetings and participate in Sales & Marketing meetings
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning to inform operational decisions
- Partner with property leaders to enforce PHG revenue strategy principles and best practices
