Established with a commitment to quality and authenticity, P.F. Chang's has built a strong reputation for its flavorful dishes and exceptional hospitality. The company prides itself on providing a vibrant and dynamic work environment where team members can grow their careers while contributing to a positive guest experience. Known for blending tradition with innovation, P.F. Chang's fosters a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
The role of Senior Restaurant Manager at P.F. Chang's is a pivotal leadership position focused on overseeing all front-of-house operations to ensure smooth restaurant performance and exceptional guest satisfaction. This full-time salaried position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience. The Senior Restaurant Manager acts as the key leader for hospitality team members, responsible for training, schedule development, guest service excellence, compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and managing controllable expenses. This role demands outstanding communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts effectively, and a proactive approach to handling daily restaurant challenges.
The Senior Restaurant Manager supports the Operating Partner by implementing established procedures that align with the company's standards and values. Daily tasks include conducting pre-shift meetings to set the tone, ensuring staff adhere to dress code standards, supervising side work completion, and managing inventory alongside financial controls. The manager plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe environment for both team members and guests, managing guest issues with professionalism and compassion, and inspiring the team by living the company’s message. This demanding role requires stamina to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift and the physical ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ideal candidates possess at least three years of restaurant management experience in fast-paced, high-volume settings and demonstrate strong leadership in mentoring and training hourly team members. A valid driver’s license is necessary due to occasional duties involving shift coverage, catering order delivery, supply runs, and inter-restaurant travel. Experience in casual or upscale dining, and familiarity with corporate restaurant operations and inventory management, is preferred. Beyond the responsibilities, P.F. Chang's offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision care, 401(k), paid time off, competitive pay with bonuses, professional development opportunities, an employee referral program, exclusive discounts, and holiday closures to support work-life balance.
Working at P.F. Chang's means joining a community of passionate professionals committed to celebrating life through family, food, and culture. The company’s supportive environment and career advancement opportunities make it an attractive workplace for candidates seeking to grow within a thriving, respected restaurant organization. Applicants are encouraged to prepare their resumes and apply promptly to become part of this vibrant team that is dedicated to making every dining experience memorable.
