P.F. Chang's is currently hiring for a full-time Senior Restaurant Assistant Manager, Senior Restaurant Hospitality Manager, Senior FOH Manager, or Restaurant Senior Manager. This senior-level leadership role is critical to ensuring that all front-of-house operations are executed effectively in alignment with P.F. Chang's established procedures and the guidance of the Operating Partner. The Senior Restaurant Manager leads the hospitality team to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain high operational standards.

This position requires a passionate and experienced leader who can supervise and train hospitality team members, communicate clearly with staff and guests, create efficient schedules, and manage day-to-day front-of-house functions. The Senior Restaurant Manager is responsible for upholding dress code standards, enforcing safety and sanitation protocols, supporting inventory management, controlling expenses, ensuring all side work is completed, managing team member check-outs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Handling guest service issues with professionalism and empathy is a key aspect of this role, reflecting the company's dedication to exceptional customer experiences. The manager must also be physically capable of standing and walking for long shifts, reaching and lifting items as needed, and operating essential kitchen equipment safely and effectively.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years of restaurant management experience, a valid driver's license to fulfill various operational duties, and the ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced, and high-volume environment. Leadership qualities such as mentoring and training team members, strong communication skills, and conflict resolution are essential for success in this position.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in casual or upscale dining and familiarity with corporate restaurant chains, including knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and financial oversight. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant management
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license to perform occasional duties such as providing shift coverage, meeting liquor license requirements (depending on the state), delivering large catering orders (which may include operating a rental truck), making supply runs, local restaurant marketing, attending offsite training and business meetings, and traveling between restaurant locations to support operations
  • Experience working in a hands-on, fast paced, high volume environment
  • Experience mentoring and training hourly team members
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to your teams

  • Involvement/understanding of managing inventory, cost of goods and overall control of financials (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Supervises and facilitates training of all Hospitality Team Members
  • Must be able to articulate clearly to Team Members, other members of Management, and our Guests
  • Develops schedules for all Hospitality Team members
  • Holds pre-shift meetings to provide daily focus and continuous direction for staff
  • Holds front of house staff accountable for dress code standards
  • Accountable for following and executing all state safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Supports the execution of inventory
  • Manages controllable expenses for their area of responsibility
  • Ensure all side work is appropriately assigned and completed
  • Manages check-outs for all Hospitality staff
  • Ensures a clean and safe environment for all Team Members and Guests
  • Handles Guest Service issues professionally and with compassion
  • Lives the Message in all aspects of the position and inspires others to do the same
  • Must be able to stand and walk for periods of eight to ten hours in length each shift
  • Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift
  • At times it might be necessary to lift up to 50 lbs
  • S/he must be able to operate kitchen equipment including a wok, mixer, slicer, buffalo chopper as well as have the ability to use knives appropriately and maintain their integrity
