Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary research and development or related food innovation roles
- Proven experience leading teams and managing projects in a culinary R&D environment
- Strong communication skills including proficiency in English
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Willingness to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced industry

- Extensive culinary expertise with mastery in culinary arts and a deep understanding of food science flavor profiles and culinary trends
- Proven leadership experience in leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced R&D culinary environment
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring timely and successful completion
- Analytical acumen to implement and utilize KPI tracking systems providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and resource allocation
- Proven adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry embracing change and adapting swiftly to new trends and challenges
- Meticulous attention to detail in recipe development and updates maintaining high standards in taste presentation and nutritional considerations
- Ability to read write and speak English bilingual in Spanish a plus
Job Duties
- Lead and inspire a dynamic team of R&D chefs fostering their growth and development through mentorship and training programs
- Drive innovation in food product development ensuring a continuous stream of creative and market-relevant culinary offerings
- Implement KPI tracking systems to monitor project success providing valuable insights for resource allocation and strategic decision-making
- Oversee the timely and effective execution of projects utilizing strong project management skills to ensure milestones are met
- Regularly update and refine recipes incorporating the latest culinary trends nutritional considerations and quality standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align product development strategies with overall company goals enhancing market positioning and profitability
