Job Description

This role focuses on the Partner Channels division, a crucial multi-billion-dollar revenue engine for Hertz. It encompasses collaborations with a wide variety of partners including travel marketplaces, airlines, hotels, credit card and loyalty programs, corporate distributors, and emerging mobility ecosystems. The position operates at the critical intersection of Sales, Partnerships, and Product to foster unique and engaging partner experiences that drive both partner and customer preference for Hertz.

As the Partner Channel Growth Lead, you will be responsible for owning the strategy and execution to accelerate growth across Hertz’s partner channels. This entails uncovering high-impact opportunities by analyzing market trends and partner behaviors, building robust business cases to justify investments, and leading cross-functional teams to launch enhanced partner experiences. These experiences might include co-branded booking flows, seamless technical integrations, loyalty benefit enhancements, and operational readiness to ensure smooth implementation.

Your accountability will span a variety of key performance indicators such as revenue growth, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction metrics. Additionally, your strategic initiatives will need to be scalable across multiple international markets to maximize impact. This role demands a strong strategic mindset, superior analytical skills, and expertise in managing complex partnerships with a focus on delivering measurable commercial results.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required MBA or master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships business development partner growth or a related commercial role
  • Track record building and scaling partnerships with measurable revenue impact experience with marketplace or distribution channels preferred
  • Strong negotiation and deal structuring skills comfort with contracts commercial models and joint marketing terms
  • Analytical strength ability to build business cases financial models and ROI projections strong understanding of unit economics
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering on technical integrations and roadmaps APIs data feeds reliability
  • Ability to define success metrics and manage performance through dashboards experimentation and operational KPIs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication proven ability to influence stakeholders and senior leaders VP C-level
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating scalable playbooks and processes for partner growth
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with an eye for experience differentiation not just distribution reach
  • Experience in travel mobility e-commerce or fintech is a plus
  • Ability to travel occasionally for partner meetings and key launches is a plus

Job Duties

  • Define the partner growth strategy and roadmap prioritizing opportunities across top distribution partners to drive incremental revenue and share
  • Develop and lead partnership expansion initiatives identifying opportunities negotiating commercial terms and driving internal approvals across finance legal and risk
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver differentiated partner experiences including APIs and integrations deep links and embedded booking loyalty earn and burn and tailored offers that improve the end-to-end customer journey
  • Stand up measurement and reporting including partner funnel metrics attribution ROI and experimentation and continuously optimize performance
  • Drive cross-functional launch excellence including go-to-market planning partner enablement operational readiness and ongoing partner governance
