With three market-leading businesses backed by robust operations and significant investments in research and development, RTX offers unparalleled capabilities and career opportunities. The company's commitment to innovation and excellence places it at the forefront of technological advancements in aerospace and defense, enabling it to connect and protect the world in ways few others can. RTX has built a reputation for delivering cutting-edge solutions that support national security and strengthen alliances worldwide, addressing emerging threats while shaping the future of defense technologies.

Raytheon, a key business unit within RTX, contributes over 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet and anticipate defense mission demands. Raytheon's focus on innovation and reliability underpins its efforts to provide solutions that protect freedoms and deter aggression, creating a safer and more secure world. Operating from various strategic locations, including Tucson, Arizona, Raytheon plays a pivotal role in delivering mission-critical defense systems and technologies.

The Excalibur Guidance Electronics Assembly (GEA) 2.0 program is seeking a Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEI&T) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to join its team onsite in Tucson, AZ. This leader will oversee a multidisciplinary engineering team, guiding integration and verification (I&V), systems engineering, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, cybersecurity, safety, and reliability efforts. Having completed its initial design and Proof of Design (POD), the program is moving into integration and testing phases, making the SEI&T IPT Lead role critical in steering these activities. The role entails managing Earned Value (EV) metrics to monitor progress and performance, fulfilling Configuration Accountable Manager (CAM) responsibilities to report earned value for the IPT. As a key participant in the Land and Air Defense Systems strategic business unit, this position requires strong leadership, technical direction, and mentorship to team members.

This is a full-time onsite position requiring an active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before the start date. Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to clearance requirements. The leader will coordinate with program leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to define key technical execution strategies and maintain alignment with program goals. The role encompasses responsibility for cost, schedule management, Earned Value reporting, conducting technical reviews, and risk and opportunity management, thereby influencing the successful delivery of Excalibur GEA 2.0.

Ideal candidates will possess a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience with program leadership and integration activities, especially in I&V. Program Manager certification level six or the ability to obtain it within the first year is expected. Candidates should have a strong background in conducting critical design, system requirements, and estimate-at-completion reviews, coupled with experience in multidisciplinary team leadership and technical mentoring. Preference is given to those with experience in projectile programs, electrical subsystem development and test, requirements management using DOORS, and configuration management tools. The role offers a competitive salary range from $132,400 to $251,600 annually, commensurate with experience.

At RTX, the values of safety, trust, respect, accountability, collaboration, and innovation drive the company culture. Employees benefit from relocation assistance, comprehensive health coverage, flexible work schedules, employee assistance programs, and considerable opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic and purpose-driven workforce environment. Joining RTX means contributing to a safer, more connected world while advancing your career in a world-class aerospace and defense company.
