The Food and Beverage Manager role at the Anaheim Marriott is a management position that requires oversight and leadership in the daily operations of the hotel's Food and Beverage (F&B) department. In this role, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for a wide array of operational and human resource activities. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage or culinary field
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university with 3 years experience
  • strong leadership and supervision skills
  • excellent communication abilities

  • willingness to perform job functions as needed

Job Duties

  • assists in the ordering of food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures
  • supports and supervises monthly self inspection program
  • operates department equipment and reports malfunction
  • supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs and financial objectives
  • encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
  • develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work
