Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged equivalent required
- associates or bachelors degree preferred
- 5+ years of related work experience required
- layout inspection experience required
- ability to validate all inspection methods
- detailed knowledge of asme y14.5 gd&t and drawing interpretation
- experience with pc-dmis cmm inspection software required
- familiarity with solidworks or other 3d cad software desired
- strong work ethic with flexibility
- must have high attention for detail and accuracy
- ability to work well with others and handle multiple tasks
- experience with challenging inspection methodologies
- training in geomagic and optical scanner technology highly preferred
- practiced in self verification and validation of methods and measurements
- asq certified quality technician preferred
- proficient in english with strong reading and writing skills
- skilled in ms office and pc-dmis software
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in office and manufacturing floor environments
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged equivalent

- 5+ years related work experience
- layout inspection experience
- ability to validate all inspection methods
- detailed working knowledge of asme y14.5 gd&t and drawing interpretation
- experience with pc-dmis cmm inspection software
- solidworks or other 3d cad experience desired
- strong work ethic with flexibility to work occasional long hours
- high attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work well with others and manage multiple tasks
- experience assisting with challenging inspection methodologies
- training in geomagic and experience with optical scanner technology highly preferred
- practiced in self verification and validation of methods and measurements
Job Duties
- programming, validation and operation of all metrology equipment including cmm, video measure machine, optical/laser scanners, form tracer and layout
- collaborate with engineering to develop reverse engineering dimensional data and provide feedback on dimensioning of engineering drawings
- provide technical assistance to inspection as necessary
- assist with supplier dimensional correlation issues
- advise on selection and application of inspection equipment
- ability to perform job duties with no supervision
- perform other duties as assigned
