Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- minimum 2 years relevant experience
- proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong problem-solving abilities
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- commitment to providing exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and execute meetings and special events
- assist in implementing departmental strategies
- manage seamless turnover from sales to operations and back
- research and analyze competitors' products, pricing, and services
- communicate event impact to property operations
- execute event management strategy aligned with company goals
- conduct daily banquet floor walkthroughs to ensure client satisfaction
- develop vendor relationships and manage service agreements
- create upselling opportunities during event planning
- control department expenses to meet budget goals
- foster an atmosphere exceeding guest expectations
- set a positive example for guest relations
- interact with guests for feedback and handle complaints
- empower employees to deliver excellent customer service
- ensure employee understanding of expectations
- focus on continuous service improvement
- communicate and enforce emergency and safety procedures
- observe and provide feedback on employee service behaviors
- monitor employee progress and lead discussions
- develop and implement corrective action plans
- participate in relevant meetings
