Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred with focus on hospitality, business, or communications
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in large-scale event management
- Strong communication skills
- General understanding of contracts
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Ability to develop reports
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments
- Excellent process and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Initiative and ownership of projects
- Ability to build cooperative relationships
- High level of discretion
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
- Office-based work environment with non-manual tasks
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with focus on hospitality, business, or communications
- Over 3 years of progressive experience in large-scale event management
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications
- Experience in contract understanding and negotiation
- Ability to develop reports and manage forecasts and budgets
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
Job Duties
- Research and design diverse corporate events including executive retreats and multi-day conferences
- Manage full vendor lifecycle including hiring, contract review, and negotiation
- Develop and oversee multi-project budgets and financial tracking
- Handle operational logistics such as itineraries, registrations, meal planning, and collateral procurement
- Collaborate with Travel Management Company on travel and large meeting execution
- Prepare professional event communications and promotional materials
- Assist executive management and visitors with travel arrangements and provide onsite support as needed
