Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • six months experience working in a fresh production department
  • ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
  • physical capability to perform meat cutting and lifting tasks
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • flexibility to meet business needs
  • willingness to use digital tools and adapt to new technology.

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience working in a fresh production department
  • strong knowledge of meat processing techniques and safety standards
  • proven ability to operate and maintain meat cutting equipment
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • experience in inventory management and shrink control

  • capacity to train and mentor associates
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • willingness to complete job-required training and assessments.

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
  • communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service
  • tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of meat types, seasonality, equipment usage, and backroom operations
  • processes meat products by cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping according to specifications
  • ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
  • Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • utilizes handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and quality
  • Drives business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, and maintaining work areas per policies
  • ensures quality and standards for high volume meat products, eliminates waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
  • Assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
  • Acts as a department and club advocate by valuing member experience, modeling high quality service and products
  • trains and supports associates to perform job-related duties
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
