Analog Devices Federal LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This role focuses on supporting manufacturing operations related to microwave and millimeter wave electronic modules. The primary responsibility of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer is to facilitate the seamless transition of new products from development into the internal manufacturing facility, helping ensure manufacturing readiness and optimizing production processes. This position requires close collaboration with advanced technology process development teams and involves significant data analysis to improve yield and throughput throughout the product lifecycle. The role demands a hands-on approach with strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence. This is a full-time, first shift position requiring a security clearance and offers a competitive salary range of $95,600 to $131,450, with a discretionary performance-based bonus. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, physics, material science, or related engineering discipline
- 4+ years experience working in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with statistical data analysis
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of SPC, DOE, 6-Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers
- U.S. citizenship with willingness to apply for security clearance
- Willingness to undergo security clearance process
- Ability to travel is not required
Job Qualifications
- BS/MS in electrical, mechanical, physics, material science, or related engineering discipline
- 4+ years prior experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with statistical data analysis methods and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), 6-Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, customers, and partners
- Highly motivated and passionate about the job
- U.S. citizen willing to apply for security clearance
Job Duties
- Work with design engineering to develop new components, modules and processes incorporating design for manufacturing best practices to improve time to market, cost, and quality
- Identify and resolve manufacturing risks to product release schedules
- Work cross-functionally to characterize and monitor new and released processes
- Collaborate with design engineering and test engineering to ensure robust product test plans and methods during development and production
- Coordinate development and implementation of manufacturing plans and schedules for the development pipeline
- Lead and participate in yield and technical review committees to ensure supply chain continuity and drive yield and cost improvement activities
- Address component obsolescence, customer returns, and supplier issues related to assigned products
- Work with design, manufacturing, and test to address supplier and customer requests and events
