This Senior Manager role pertains to leading Anduril’s corporate Travel and Expense program. The position is essential for maintaining an efficient and effective travel program aligned with the fast-paced nature of the company’s business. As Senior Manager, you will spearhead the travel policies, program strategies, and vendor relations that govern corporate travel activities globally. Your leadership will ensure compliance, operational excellence, and seamless traveler experiences, working closely across departments such as Finance, Accounting, and People teams. Managing a team of three full-time employees, you will handle a division focused on travel and expenses respectively, emphasizing cost control and policy enforcement.

Job Requirements
- Previous experience as corporate travel & expense manager for 5+ years
- Extensive understanding of global travel & expense operations: policy governance, compliance, audit, and tax implications across regions
- Deep knowledge of travel & expense platforms and related finance systems
- Strong grasp of global and regional regulatory requirements, including local tax laws and statutory reporting
- Familiarity with cross-functional processes, including Accounts Payable, Risk Management, Treasury, Procurement, HR, and Audit
- Knowledge of change management, policy deployment, and best practices in global service delivery
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CTM/GDS solutions
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Lead the Travel & expense program at Anduril - managing 3 FTEs (one primarily focused on travel, and 2 primarily focused on expense and expense review)
- Advise and collaborate with the Senior Executive team on travel spend analysis, travel policies and program enhancements
- Execute global strategy while adapting to regional variations and business needs
- Establish operational excellence through strong processes, controls, and stakeholder support
- Partner with Executive Assistants to ensure they have the resources to manage their executives’ travel
- Prioritize ad-hoc support when needed for Executives and EAs
- Lead vendor management and strategic negotiations with hotels, airlines, rental car agencies and for meetings & events
- Manage escalations with stellar communication skills
- Support individual travelers when questions/issues arise
- Support with unused airline ticket management
- Review and approve a subset of employee expenses and reimbursements
- Support month end close, ensuring employee expenses are completed and approved in a timely manner to reduce the need for month end accruals
- Manage Business Travel Accidents (BTA) and Auto Insurance (both active/new claims and renewal of these policies)
