Evergreen Goodwill operates with a deep dedication to environmental sustainability, workplace safety, and community impact, making it a dynamic and values-driven employer within the nonprofit sector.

The Senior Manager, Risk & Environmental Health Safety (EHS) at Evergreen Goodwill plays a critical role in leading the organization’s safety and regulatory compliance initiatives. The position is salaried exempt with a competitive salary range of $108,000 to $120,000 annually. This leadership role supervises the company’s environmental health & safety organization and acts as the senior technical authority on all matters related to workplace safety, risk mitigation, and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Beyond regulatory compliance, this role champions the development of technical safety training programs and standardized curricula that support onboarding and ongoing compliance training for diverse operational sites. Additionally, the Senior Manager provides coaching and development support to operational leaders to strengthen frontline safety accountability and promote proactive hazard reporting. Leadership responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and developing EHS team members, establishing performance standards, and fostering professional growth to build internal technical capability.

A vital aspect of the role involves emergency preparedness and business continuity planning. The Senior Manager leads emergency response planning, drills, and serves as an escalation point for significant safety incidents. Collaboration with facilities management and executive leadership is essential to ensure comprehensive business continuity strategies.

Evergreen Goodwill celebrates diversity and inclusion, welcoming employees from varied backgrounds and perspectives. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings plans, paid time off, employee discounts, and career development opportunities.
