Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Marriott operates properties across the globe, offering unparalleled experiences to its guests and outstanding career opportunities to its associates. With a dedication to fostering a hybrid work environment, Marriott supports both on-site and remote work options, making it an attractive employer in the lodging sector. Marriott’s corporate culture emphasizes inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity, ensuring a supportive workspace for all employees. The company’s comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts, underscores its commitment to the well-being and professional growth of its workforce.

This specific full-time Senior Manager role is based in Bethesda, MD but offers remote flexibility for those outside commuting distance. The position is within Marriott’s Development & Feasibility division, focusing on management and growth strategies for luxury hotels and branded residences across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) regions. With an annual salary range between $110,400 and $168,000 for Bethesda-based employees and $100,400 to $153,000 for remote workers, the role reflects its seniority and responsibility within the company.

The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess new hotel and residential opportunities and streamline corporate approval processes, significantly contributing to Marriott’s long-term growth and brand equity.

The scope of work includes lead generation, data analysis, communication with stakeholders, preparation of proposals and term sheets, and coordination of development processes, such as site inspections and feasibility studies. This role requires a proactive approach to improving workflows with automation technologies and maintaining detailed reporting, ensuring informed decision-making at various organizational levels. The Senior Manager also organizes and facilitates meetings, market events, and presentations critical to the development pipeline’s success.

Marriott values candidates with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields, combined with at least four years of experience in business, sales, marketing, or management operations. Preference is given to those with experience in the luxury or lifestyle segments of the lodging or hospitality industry. The ability to independently manage data-driven evaluations, initiate contact with potential business partners, and manage complex projects is essential. This role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and are motivated by strategic growth opportunities in the luxury hospitality sector.

Marriott's commitment to career development is further highlighted by its support for educational assistance, paid parental leave, and other employee-centric benefits. Working within this respected global company offers exposure to a wide range of luxury hospitality projects and the chance to impact how Marriott continues to define excellence in the industry.
