Senior Maintenance Technician

The Senior Maintenance Technician role at The Resort at Encinitas is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring the property's upkeep and the comfort of its residents. This full-time role offers an hourly wage ranging from $26.74 to $29.02 and includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus upon completion of 90 days of employment, along with eligibility for a 40% apartment allowance if residing on-site. The technician will carry out a variety of maintenance tasks that span HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. Beyond routine repairs, the individual will ensure the safety and cleanliness of the property, maintain amenities such as pools and hot tubs, and oversee preventative maintenance schedules and inspections.

In this role, the Senior Maintenance Technician will also supervise outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, manage inventory and procurement of supplies, and assist with coordinating move-ins and move-outs. Participation in community events and resident engagement activities is part of creating a welcoming environment. This position requires strong diagnostic and repair skills, organizational capabilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
