Job Description
Our company is a distinguished leader in the event management and hospitality industry, specializing in delivering exceptional logistics solutions and coordinating large-scale events. With a commitment to quality service and a client-focused approach, we provide comprehensive logistical support to a variety of programs and events. Our team is entrusted with the critical role of ensuring seamless execution from initial proposal through post-event wrap up, guaranteeing client satisfaction and program success. As a full-time employer based in the Miami, FL area, we offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation, accountability, and excellence. We operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and report directly to the Director of Logistics.
The Senior Logistics Manager role is pivotal within our organization, responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of all assigned programs, serving as the primary client contact (beyond the Relationship/Client Strategy team), and leading a team of logistics coordinators during both planning and onsite event activities. This role typically oversees 8 to 12 clients simultaneously and encompasses duties from creating proposals and service agreements through to on-site event management. The Senior Logistics Manager works closely with the Director of Logistics to develop event workflows, manage budgets via the Viper financial system, and ensure operational and financial success for both the client and the company.
Key responsibilities include supervising logistics coordinators and other operational staff, maintaining detailed documentation and professional master schedules, coordinating vendor contracts, and ensuring timely communication and quality control throughout events. The role demands strong leadership, organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to maintain high levels of client contact for customer satisfaction and program growth. Additionally, the Senior Logistics Manager participates in site inspections, manages staffing needs for events, and upholds the company's core values, including accountability, innovation, and relationship building. The position requires physical ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, occasional walking, bending, and light lifting, as well as flexible work environments including remote and on-site locations. Salary starts at $85,000 or commensurate with experience.
