Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a dynamic and fast-growing family-owned company dedicated to serving the senior living community with a commitment to excellence and compassion. With over 60 communities nationwide, RLC fosters a resort-style environment that emphasizes respect, honesty, kindness, and servant leadership. The company prides itself on creating close-knit, servant-hearted teams who embody its core values and strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day. RLC is known for its supportive leadership and innovative approach to senior living, making it an employer of choice for professionals passionate about hospitality and resident care. This role is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive annual salary of $60,000 per person, profit sharing potential, and comprehensive benefits including on-site housing.
The Community Manager position at Resort Lifestyle Communities offers a unique opportunity for a couple or two-person team to immerse themselves fully in the life of one of RLC's Independent Living Retirement Communities. As Community Managers, candidates will be responsible for leading a team of over 20 employees and managing all aspects of community operations. This role blends hospitality, sales, operations, and relationship-building to create an exceptional, welcoming environment for residents. Living in a single on-site two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, the managers will have the chance to provide hands-on leadership and direct involvement in day-to-day activities, helping to ensure resident satisfaction, employee happiness, full occupancy, and on-budget operations.
Key responsibilities include managing diverse teams such as sales, dining, maintenance, lifestyle, concierge, housekeeping, and transportation services. Community Managers will oversee sales and marketing goals, budget management, and compliance with company standards, all while maintaining a vibrant and engaging community atmosphere. The role requires a willingness to relocate and live on-site, a passion for senior service, strong leadership and hospitality skills, and a servant-leadership mindset ready to support employees whenever needed. This position primarily operates Sunday through Thursday with on-call responsibilities and occasional evening, weekend, or holiday duties, underscoring the commitment to maintaining the high standards of resident care and community excellence. This leadership role is ideal for candidates seeking to make a meaningful impact in senior living within a supportive and growth-oriented company.
