Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, or related fields
- Minimum of eight years of experience in information technology services
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Solarwinds, ServiceNow, Splunk, Windows, Linux, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Zoom
- Ability to follow and develop standard operating procedures
- Proven track record of proactive issue identification and resolution
- Relevant certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, and SolarWinds Certified Professional
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PERL, and PowerShell preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, or other IT degrees (engineering, math, and science-related degrees are acceptable substitutes)
- Eight years of relevant experience in information technology services
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency with Solarwinds, ServiceNow, Splunk, Windows, Linux, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Zoom
- Ability to develop and follow standard operating procedures
- Proven experience in proactive issue identification and management
- Certified: Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals
- SolarWinds Certified Professional
- Proficiency with Python, PERL, and PowerShell development highly preferred
Job Duties
- Provide information technology services in facilities planning, operations, and support to enhance system performance and reliability
- Conduct analysis, design, testing, and administration of storage systems to ensure efficient data management
- Analyze, design, test, and administer server systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Engage in network engineering and administration activities to maintain secure and efficient network operations
- Support planning, operations, and administration of user support to ensure effective service delivery
- Provide support for databases, website/web application services, ensuring operational readiness and user satisfaction
- Support pre and final production readiness activities to facilitate smooth transitions to operational environments
- Perform related IT systems functions as needed to support overall organizational goals
- Engage in cloud engineering, design, testing, and administration to enhance cloud service capabilities and performance
