The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving group revenue goals by actively upselling and maximizing the revenue potential of each group opportunity. They will also implement Marriott's brand service strategy, including applicable brand initiatives, to drive customer loyalty and deliver excellence in each customer interaction. This role requires a deep understanding of the local market and competitive landscape, sophisticated negotiation skills, and the ability to creatively close business opportunities. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in sales and marketing or related area
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration, marketing, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 2 years experience in sales and marketing or related area
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work full time
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
