Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, data science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in global trade compliance
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Proficiency with SAP Global Trade Services preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of free trade agreements, tariff classifications, customs valuation, and origin determination
  • Strong understanding of export controls and sanctions compliance
  • Ability to lead and manage a global team effectively
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives and trade compliance technologies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Data Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in global trade compliance with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Preferred experience with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS)
  • Expert knowledge in free trade agreement qualification and optimization
  • Skilled in tariff classification, customs valuation, and origin determination
  • Proficient in export controls (ITAR, EAR) and sanctions compliance (OFAC, EU sanctions)
  • Experienced in trade risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Knowledgeable in global trade policy advocacy and regulatory engagement
  • Experienced in supply chain trade integration for compliance and cost benefits

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute global trade strategy focused on beneficial trade outcomes
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives including SAP GTS enhancements and automated compliance tools
  • Oversee global trade compliance team aligning with business objectives
  • Drive advanced trade analytics synthesizing multi-source data into actionable insights
  • Ensure global compliance with customs regulations, tariff classifications, export controls, and sanctions regimes
  • Architect and manage SharePoint-based digital solutions for global collaboration and process automation
  • Proactively manage trade risks using predictive analytics and risk mitigation strategies
  • Advocate in global trade policy discussions and regulatory engagements
  • Integrate trade compliance into global supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Optimize SAP GTS configurations and integrations globally
  • Represent company in external trade forums and negotiations
