Job Requirements
- Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to read and verify information in various formats including small print and computer displays
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clean and professional appearance
- Willingness to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by General Manager
- Food and beverage management experience required

- At least 2 years of previous experience overseeing banquets
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve desired performance outcomes
- Professional demeanor and warm, welcoming personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage actively with individuals at all organizational levels
- Genuine care and compassion with a desire to understand others
- Insight and natural instincts for resolving unclear situations and problems

- Ability to speak with clarity, tact, and professionalism
- Experience in food and beverage management
Job Duties
- Manage all food and beverage and banquet operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Achieve profitability through managing labor and food costs
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Lead culinary team
- Purchase food, beverages, and supplies
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
- Lead food and beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel
- Establish goals, make schedules, and enforce policies and procedures
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Monitor and report sales and guest satisfaction results
- Strive to improve service performance
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- Communicate clear and consistent messages regarding processes throughout the food and beverage department
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, standards and meeting the expectations of customers on a daily basis
- Identify the developmental needs of others and providing coaching and mentoring to improve their knowledge and skills
