The Senior Food and Beverage Manager at Arlo Hotels plays a crucial leadership role within the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. Acting as a key figure in organizing, managing, and administering all operational aspects of the food and beverage department, the Senior Food and Beverage Manager ensures that high standards are consistently met. This role involves working closely with culinary teams, managing reservation platforms, organizing shift documentation, maintaining labor schedules, and ensuring compliance with service standards. The Senior Food and Beverage Manager also provides leadership when the Director is off-site, offering coaching and training to junior managers and offering feedback for performance improvement. Their responsibilities extend to handling financial and budgetary controls related to payroll, revenues, and product costs, along with maintaining effective communication across departments for smooth operational flow. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stay on feet for 8 hours plus

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least two years of Food and Beverage Manager experience or equivalent
- At least one year of restaurant leadership experience in a hotel environment or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Financial knowledge
- Manager Alcohol awareness certification
- Manager Food Service permit
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Arlo Hotel standards as required by scheduling
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper dress when working
- Comply with Arlo Hotels standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Be visible and interact with guests and team members to provide high levels of quality service
- Rank as Manager on duty when Director is off site
- Communicate operational details to culinary team and managers to ensure correctness
- Manage all reservation platforms with host team members ensuring accuracy
- Organize documentation for shift work including pre-shift reports, training, floor plans, and requisitions
- Manage labor scheduling and payroll assistance
- Train and coach junior managers
- Communicate team goals, priorities, and operational changes effectively
- Address performance issues with coaching and conflict resolution
- Provide feedback and appraisals
- Monitor cleanliness and report safety concerns
- Participate in interdepartmental meetings
- Assist in marketing and menu development
- Control budget, payroll, and product costs
- Ensure compliance with accounting and people services policies
- Report grievances to Director of Food and Beverage or People Services
- Maintain Micros programming for outlets
- Troubleshoot hotel activities and problems
- Operate word processing and perform general cleaning tasks
- Additional duties as assigned
