The company is currently seeking a Senior Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction at Northwestern University’s new Ryan Field. This leadership role requires a visionary culinary expert who can develop and execute a culinary journey tailored uniquely to the venue, ensuring every guest and fan experiences outstanding service and innovative cuisine. The Senior Executive Chef will build strategic partnerships, represent Levy’s business objectives in collaboration with partners and vendors, and oversee all culinary operations with a focus on safety, quality, and profitability. Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience as an executive chef in a high volume atmosphere
- ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
- culinary degree from a reputable culinary school preferred
- strong leadership and management skills with ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability
- in-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- exceptional communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a guest focused mindset
- proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
- high level of computer literacy
- experience in the use of social media preferred

Job Duties
- building a strong partnership with onsite partner and developing a shared culinary vision for the location
- representing Levy and business objectives at partner meetings and networking events
- overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation across the culinary department
- interviewing applicants for positions requiring hiring consideration and approval
- identifying opportunities and driving improvements in food and financial performance
- overseeing season planning to align with Levy and partner goals
- managing menu design and updates based on food trends, costs, and popularity
- overseeing project management of construction and refurbishment activities
- conducting event walks to interact with team members, guests, partners, and VIPs
- creating menu build diagrams
- collaborating with regional and Home Office culinary teams to evolve guest food experiences
- partnering with leadership team to develop a location strategic plan
- conducting department safety walks to maintain high safety and cleanliness standards
