The Executive Chef of Food and Culinary Services role for Retail, Patient, and Catering sectors at Johns Hopkins Health System is a critical leadership position responsible for enhancing the culinary experience across multiple service lines. This full-time, day-shift role operates within a rotating shift schedule and commands an hourly salary range from $37.87 to $66.28, commensurate with experience and expertise. The Executive Chef plays a pivotal role in innovating food and wellness solutions by developing creative culinary strategies tailored to enhance client satisfaction and increase both client retention and new sales. Focused on segment profitability goals, the position leads and participates in culinary project teams dedicated to driving innovation and standardizing culinary excellence across retail outlets, patient service areas, and catering departments.

The Executive Chef’s responsibilities extend to designing, testing, and recommending effective marketing activities specific to the culinary offerings at Johns Hopkins Hospital. A significant component of this role involves meticulous project management including the development and maintenance of project plans and budgets to ensure successful implementation of culinary initiatives. The chef also serves as a key liaison with external partners and vendors to coordinate food-related activities and ensure adherence to procurement guidelines and culinary standards.
