Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of culinary industry and management experience
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • ability to lead diverse teams focused on client and customer service
  • experience in food and labor cost control and menu creation preferred
  • p&l accountability or contract-managed services experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Train and inspire kitchen personnel to achieve their best
  • Estimate food consumption and manage the requisition or purchase of food supplies
  • Develop and standardize production recipes to guarantee consistent quality
  • Establish presentation techniques and maintain quality standards
  • Plan, price, and design exceptional menus
  • Oversee equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring safety and sanitation
  • Occasionally cook selected items, ensuring involvement in culinary practices
  • Coordinate special catering events and provide culinary instruction and demonstrations
  • Directly supervise kitchen staff including hiring, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and recommending pay increases
