Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services
  • Proven ability to manage labor efficiently
  • Strong culinary skills
  • Knowledge of safety and health standards
  • ServSafe certified
  • Ability to implement processes and solve problems independently

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • Strong culinary background
  • Menu planning experience
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Highly organized and detail-focused
  • ServSafe certification
  • Working knowledge of HAACP
  • Certified Executive Chef is a plus

Job Duties

  • Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • Manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
  • Procurement and purchasing
  • Create menus based on client needs
  • Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
  • Create interpersonal relationships with client
