Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services
- Proven ability to manage labor efficiently
- Strong culinary skills
- Knowledge of safety and health standards
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to implement processes and solve problems independently
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- Strong culinary background
- Menu planning experience
- Knowledge of current culinary trends
- Proficient computer skills
- Highly organized and detail-focused
- ServSafe certification
- Working knowledge of HAACP
- Certified Executive Chef is a plus
Job Duties
- Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
- Manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
- Procurement and purchasing
- Create menus based on client needs
- Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
- Create interpersonal relationships with client
