Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event management, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in event planning and management
  • Proven ability to manage complex events with large budgets
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex events with large budgets

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle pressure and last-minute changes
  • A professional appearance and demeanor with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of high-profile events ensuring flawless delivery and client satisfaction
  • Develop creative event concepts and proposals tailored to meet specific client needs and budgets
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events including venue setup, catering, AV, décor, staffing, and entertainment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Oversee event budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability while maintaining high service standards
  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings providing expert guidance and recommendations
  • Lead and motivate the events team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in event management and hospitality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise before, during, or after an event
