The organization’s mission is fueled by core values such as Integrity, Advocacy, Commitment, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Excellence, all of which contribute to creating a secure cyber environment for organizations and individuals worldwide. Through its charitable arm, the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, ISC2 actively educates vulnerable populations about cyber risks and supports their entry into the cybersecurity field, fostering greater awareness and diversity in the profession.
The Senior Events Manager role at ISC2 is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the Americas event portfolio, which includes a diverse range of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, as well as workshops and webinars. You will direct and manage the execution, planning, and evaluation of these events to maximize member engagement, elevate the ISC2 brand, and achieve targeted revenue goals. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who is adept at balancing operational management with creative program development and technological innovation.
As the Senior Events Manager, you will lead the Americas Events team, providing strategic governance, setting priorities, success metrics, and operational standards to ensure an exceptional event experience. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and analyze event performance to optimize the portfolio and guide future planning initiatives. Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, member engagement, and production to improve audience acquisition and content delivery.
Additionally, you will serve as the global program owner for ISC2's virtual events and webinar series. This aspect of the role involves defining the vision, success metrics, and ensuring continuous improvement in program design, technology integration, scalability, and attendee experience. You will oversee the selection and management of event technology platforms, vendor relationships, and data integrations that support seamless event execution.
