Job Description

Restaurant365 is an innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) company that is revolutionizing the restaurant industry by providing a centralized, cloud-based platform designed to streamline accounting and back-office operations for restaurants. With a focus on empowerment and skill development, Restaurant365 fosters a culture of excellence aimed at maintaining its position as "Best in Class" in the industry. The company is committed to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that team members are equipped to achieve outstanding results while growing professionally. Restaurant365 operates with a collaborative spirit and a dedication to delivering exceptional solutions that drive operational efficiency and financial clarity for restaurant operators nationwide.

The Senior Events Manager role at Restaurant365 is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the planning and flawless execution of the company’s largest and most high-profile national events. This position reports to the Director of Events and involves translating strategic initiatives into seamless event experiences. The role is hybrid, requiring the incumbent to be based out of one of the company’s office locations in Austin, TX; Irvine, CA; or Akron, OH. The Senior Events Manager will manage complex, multi-day programs including Sales Kick-Off (SKO), President’s Club, RTT/RTF, major brand events, and national trade shows, ensuring they deliver polished, executive-level experiences that amplify the Restaurant365 brand.

Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of event execution such as logistics, production schedules, budget management with event budgets ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 or more, vendor negotiations, and cost control. The Senior Events Manager will lead venue sourcing and contracting, travel coordination, shipping, audio/visual setups, and onsite event operations, directing internal staff and external vendors to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Collaboration with multiple internal teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Executive Leadership is paramount to align event objectives, programming, staffing, and logistics. This position also maintains excellent communication with all stakeholders to ensure accountability and flawless meeting execution.

Additionally, the Senior Events Manager plays a vital role in upholding the Restaurant365 brand and experience standards at all national events. This involves managing relationships with merchandise and gifting partners, ensuring brand consistency across signage, creative elements, messaging, and customer-facing touchpoints. The role is also responsible for process improvement by developing and maintaining standardized workflows, tracking event success metrics including budget adherence, ROI, and attendee feedback, and providing insightful post-event reports that guide ongoing enhancements.

Vendor and partner relationship management is another essential component, requiring the Senior Events Manager to develop and sustain strong connections with event service providers, evaluate performance, negotiate favorable terms, and travel as necessary to supervise onsite operations. The successful candidate will bring 6-8+ years of experience managing large-scale corporate events, conferences, or trade shows, ideally within B2B or SaaS companies. They must demonstrate excellence in multi-day event execution with executive exposure, robust budgeting and vendor negotiation skills, superior project management and leadership capabilities, calmness under pressure, and technical proficiency in event platforms, project management tools, and CRM/marketing systems such as Salesforce and Marketo.

The role offers a competitive salary range of $116,000 to $150,000, which varies based on experience, skills, geographic location, and other factors. Restaurant365 offers comprehensive benefits including fully paid medical insurance for employees, 401k with matching, equity option grants, unlimited paid time off plus company holidays, and various wellness initiatives, all designed to support the health and well-being of its team members. Restaurant365 values equitable pay and transparency in compensation practices and is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within its workforce.
