Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in event management or related professional area or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Ability to solve problems and suggest alternatives
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and client relationships
- Willingness to lead meetings and collaborate across departments
Job Qualifications

- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex events
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in managing budgets and forecasting revenue
- Leadership and team collaboration abilities
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales, property departments and customers
- Ensure high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases
- Handle primarily complex events
- Manage seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales
- Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling and event enhancements
- Lead pre-event and post-event meetings
- Solve operational challenges in collaboration with property staff and customers
