Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in event management or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in hospitality or related field
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- proficiency in event management software and MS Office
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- strong problem-solving and communication skills
- proven ability to manage budgets and customer relationships
- experience in coordinating complex events
- ability to lead meetings and collaborate with diverse teams
Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales and property departments and customers
- handle complex event planning and ensure seamless turnover from sales to service and back
- lead pre-event and post-event meetings
- identify and resolve operational challenges
- manage customer budgets and maximize revenue through upselling and enhancements
- oversee group room blocks and meeting spaces
- conduct customer follow-up and maintain positive guest relations
