Job Description

Marriott is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Event Coordinator to join their team. This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of event planning and execution to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The role involves collaborating with various departments and clients to deliver high-quality events and maximize revenue opportunities. The Event Coordinator will also act as a primary contact for clients during events and uphold Marriott's service standards at all times.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in event management or related field
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • ability to manage budgets and customer needs effectively
