The role of Event Manager at JW Marriott in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a full-time management position with an annual pay range of $85,000 to $109,000, including eligibility for bonuses and relocation assistance. This position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of complex events from inception through completion. As an Event Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact post-sales turnover and orchestrate the coordination of event logistics in cooperation with Sales, property departments, and customers. This role demands a proactive approach to customer service, including managing room blocks and meeting spaces, conducting site inspections, and acting as a liaison between field sales and clients throughout the event lifecycle. Profitability management is central to your duties, requiring accurate forecasting of group room nights and event-related revenue, as well as overseeing billing and payment processes to maintain financial objectives.

Exceptional customer service is a cornerstone of this position. You will engage directly with guests to solicit feedback, resolve issues promptly, and uphold a positive presence throughout all event phases. The role requires clear and effective communication with internal teams and external clients to ensure that event details are flawlessly executed, and customer satisfaction is consistently high. By joining JW Marriott, you embrace The JW Treatment™—a commitment to associate well-being that translates into superior guest experiences. This opportunity at JW Marriott Philadelphia not only offers a dynamic and rewarding career path but also aligns you with a globally respected brand dedicated to luxury hospitality and associate empowerment.
